REGULATIONS

§1. General provisions

  1. These Regulations, hereinafter referred to as “Regulations”, set out the rules for the use of beauty, cosmetology and hairdressing services provided at PRIVE Beauty & Hair salon, operating under the company name: 1. “PAY UP” DAWID BECAUSE; 2. “PRIVE” DAWID BECAUSE. NIP: 5832871216, 181 Ludwig Beethoven St., 80-171 Gdansk, e-mail: book@prive-club.pl.

  2. It is the client’s responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions before proceeding with any treatment offered by the Salon.

  3. Entering the treatment is tantamount to acceptance of the provisions of the Regulations. The client agrees to abide by the provisions from the moment of agreeing to perform the treatment until its completion.

  4. These Regulations apply only to stationary services and do not constitute regulations for the provision of electronic services within the meaning of the Electronic Services Act.

§2. Customers

  1. Any natural person of legal age may be a customer of the Salon.
  2. It is permissible for minors over 13 years of age to use the Treatments with the express written consent of both legal guardians or sole custodian or legal representative. An employee of the Salon is entitled to request the submission of the relevant consent at any time and to refuse to provide the Treatment, in the absence of consent or refusal to provide it.

§3. Employees

  1. Employees are properly trained to work in their positions, as well as having all the required certificates, approvals and permits to work in the capacity corresponding to their position.
  2. The employee, before starting the Treatment, is obliged to check the condition of his workstation and ensure that he has a supply of disposable and protective materials and sterilized instruments.
  3. The employee, before starting the Treatment, is obliged to disinfect the position, hands and forearms up to elbow height and reusable tools. The same activities are performed by the employee during the treatment, if he interrupts the continuity of the treatment, and after the treatment is completed.
  4. Salon employees are required to keep hands and nails in such a condition as to minimize the risk of scratches and cuts.
  5. Salon employees are required to secure their hair to minimize the risk of hair entering the treatment area.
  6. Employees of the Salon are obliged to comply with health, safety and fire regulations.
  7. Customers should immediately report any deviation from the above rules to the owner, manager or other member of the Salon staff who is on duty at the time.

§4. Hygiene and safety

  1. Flat surfaces and other items of Salon equipment with which the Client has no direct contact during the Treatment are disinfected or sterilized at least once a day.
  2. The salon has its own autoclave for sterilizing tools.
  3. All the technical products we work on are strictly for the procedures offered, disposable articles complete the sterility.
  4. Employees of the Salon are required to perform systematic health examinations in order to eliminate all diseases, infections, conditions and ailments that could expose Customers to harm or transfer to Customers.
  5. Salon employees with open wounds and cuts or oozing skin lesions that cannot be properly protected from contact with the client’s body are excluded from providing cosmetic services until the above deviations are completely corrected.
  6. In the event of an unintentional (unrelated to the planned course of treatment) violation of the Client’s body shells during the Treatment, the Treatment is immediately discontinued and the injured area is immediately washed, disinfected and bandaged according to the extent of the injury. If the damage occurred through the sole fault of a salon employee, the treatment is completed at the client’s convenience, at no additional charge, by appointment and only after complete healing. In other cases (including self-inflicted injuries of the client/themselves), the scope and timing are determined on an individual basis.
  7. Only disinfectants approved for use in a cosmetology salon are used in the salon.

§5. Provision of cosmetic/cosmetology/hairdressing services

  1. PRIVE Beauty&Hair Salon offers packages of services in aesthetic cosmetology, applied cosmetology, permanent eyebrow makeup, eyelash styling, numerous face/body treatments (manual and machine), cosmetic consultations, hairdressing, treatment packages, hair transplants.   2. Before starting the Treatment, the Employee conducts an interview with the Client in order to determine whether the Client’s health condition, past or present illnesses, as well as lifestyle do not constitute contraindications to the Treatment or pose a risk of side effects, and in order to determine post-treatment recommendations.
  3. Each client is acquainted with contraindications, side effects and post-treatment recommendations, and by proceeding with the Treatment they are fully aware of them and accept them. In the case of the most serious Treatments and complications, the Employee has the right to receive written confirmation on the subject and to refuse to perform the Treatment in the absence of the Client’s willingness to make such a statement.
  4. Clients, before the start of the Treatment, are required to notify the Employee of any ailments and contraindications that may affect the course of the Treatment, in particular: heart disease, use of a pacemaker, cancer, inflammatory conditions in the acute phase, history of hepatitis and other infectious diseases, pregnancy or the postpartum period, prostheses or IUDs (e.g., intrauterine devices) in their possession, taking medications that reduce blood clotting, and unusual reactions to the sight of blood or interrupted continuity of body tissues.
  5. Whenever a Treatment is not performed in a series in which the interval between consecutive Treatments is a maximum of 7 days or before the start of the next series, which follows a period of more than 14 days, the Client should confirm the validity of the interview and the information provided.
  6. The client is obliged not to wear any jewelry during the Treatment. All valuables are to be kept by the Client at his responsibility.
  7. Clients are required to immediately inform the Employee of any deterioration of their well-being during the course of the Treatment.
  8. If there are doubts about the safety of performing the Treatment, the Employee may refuse to perform the Treatment.
  9. The employee has the right to refuse to carry out the Treatment also if he/she has doubts that the Client is not planning to defraud the Treatment and if he/she finds that the Client is under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants.
  10. Failure to accept the terms and conditions is tantamount to cancellation of the service.

§6. Payment

  1. The customer is obliged to pay for the services performed according to the price list available in the Salon, on the website and in the Booksy app.

  2. Accepted forms of payment:

    • cash,

    • payment card,

    • BLIK,

    • Online payments (via Booksy, among others).

  3. The salon allows the purchase of gift vouchers – with the option of online, card or BLIK payment. Vouchers have a specific expiration date.

  4. Prices are subject to change, which does not affect previously purchased services, vouchers or packages.

  5. Promotions do not combine unless specifically stated otherwise.

§7. Responsibility

  1. The reception area and other parts of the Salon are monitored.
  2. The salon is covered by internal monitoring, due to the safety of customers and salon staff. Acceptance of the terms and conditions of the PRIVE Beauty&Hair salon is tantamount to acceptance for image registration.
  3. Customers are responsible for any damage to Salon equipment without limitation. Damage caused by minors is the responsibility of their legal representatives.
  4. The salon is not responsible for outer garments. The salon is not responsible for any items left in the outer garment, especially valuables, bags, backpacks and purses, which the customer should keep with him.
  5. Failure of the Client to comply with the provisions of the Regulations or making false statements about his/her health condition and contraindications or in the interview, will result in the exclusion of responsibility for the performed Treatment on the part of the Salon
  6. The Salon is not responsible for the Client’s dissatisfaction with the final result of the Treatment, resulting from subjective feelings. The treatments are performed in a professional, artful manner, and each client is made aware that the results of the treatment are subject to individual conditions and may not be fully satisfactory.
  7. The salon is not responsible for damage or soiling of the client’s clothing caused during the performance of services, in particular hairdressing procedures such as hair coloring, hair bleaching, toning, decolorization and other chemical services.

§8. Reservations

  1. The Client should make a prior appointment in person, by phone or through booksy.com to have the Treatment performed at the Salon.
  2. For booked Treatments, you must arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The Salon retains the right not to perform a Treatment for a Client who shows up more than 10 minutes late.
  3. Notwithstanding the above, with the express consent of the Client, the Treatment may be performed even though the Client is late, with the proviso that the individual stages of the Treatment will be shortened at the discretion of the Employee (performed in part), with the exception of stages that have a specified minimum duration. For the Treatment performed in this way, the full price is due.
  4. If the Treatment is delayed for reasons attributable to the Salon, including the Employee, none of the stages will be shortened.
  5. The Salon reserves the right to cancel the date of the Treatment up to 24 hours before its scheduled start. The salon will simultaneously arrange a new date for the Treatment with the Client.
  6. Priority in scheduling the Treatment is given to Customers who have made a reservation.

§9. Absences and cancellations

  1. Failure to attend the Treatment on the scheduled date or cancellation of the appointment less than 24 hours before its commencement, entitles the Salon to charge a non-refundable fee of up to 25% of the value of the agreed services.
  2. The customer may also be charged the above fee if he or she is excessively late for an appointment and the service cannot be performed within the remaining time.
  3. In each case, the decision as to whether a fee will be charged is considered on a case-by-case basis by the owner or manager of the salon.
  4. The fee is never charged before the visit. The fee is not charged when the service is performed, so you will pay the agreed amount for the visit in full when the service is completed.

§10. Complaints

  1. The Client has the right to file a complaint about the manner in which the Treatment was performed or its effects, within 3 days of the performance of the Treatment or the occurrence of undesirable effects of the Treatment. To make a claim, it is necessary to prove the performance of the Treatment at the Salon in any form.
  2. Complaints shall be submitted in writing in person at the Salon or by email to managerprive4@gmail.com .
  3. All complaints will be recognized within 14 days.
  4. If a complaint is accepted, the salon will not refund the price of the service performed. The salon may offer a correction and additional benefits as compensation.
  5. If a complaint is denied, the customer has the right to appeal the decision within 14 days. In appeal proceedings, the above provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis.
  6. If the Treatment is questioned immediately after it is performed, the Client is not relieved of payment for the service performed. He has the right to file a complaint.

§11. Fulfillment of voucher orders

  1. The processing time for voucher orders is a maximum of 3 business days after payment confirmation.

  2. The customer will be informed of the completion of the order by e-mail.

§12. Other provisions

  1. Smoking and the use of tobacco and nicotine products, including electronic cigarettes, and other stimulants and intoxicants are strictly prohibited throughout the Salon. As well as there is a complete ban on drinking your own alcoholic beverages.
  2. If a client shows up under the influence of alcohol and/or other intoxicants, PRIVE Beauty&Hair employees will not perform the arranged treatment. Such persons and those behaving rudely will be asked to leave the salon.
  3. It is forbidden to bring animals into the Salon.
  4. All persons on the premises of PRIVE Beauty&Hair are required to comply with these rules and regulations and follow the suggestions of the staff.

§13. Final provisions

  1. Each customer has the right to inspect the regulations, price list and certificates referred to by the Salon or Employees.
  2. The salon reserves the right to make changes to the regulations. The new provisions are binding from the moment they are published in the Salon. For reservations and Treatments performed before the change, the existing provisions shall apply.
  3. Any disputes arising from the provision of cosmetic services should be resolved amicably in the first instance.

§14 Terms and conditions for the use of treatment packages at PRIVE Beauty & Hair General information

  1. A treatment package includes a set of a defined number of specially composed treatments for a specified amount. If the terms and conditions for the treatment packages are changed, the terms and conditions as of the date of purchase of the package in question are to be considered valid.

  3. The client entitled to use the package is obliged to carry out the treatments personally, it is not possible to assign the package to another person.
  4. Purchased treatments must be performed within 12 months from the start of the package.
  5. Purchased Laser Depilation treatments must be completed within 2 years from the start of the package. After this time, all unused treatments are considered completed. The moment the package starts is considered to be the date when the first treatment realized within the package is performed.
  6. The clinic does not accept package refunds and will not pay the amount for unused treatments.
  7. Advance appointment booking is required for the treatments, and can be made in person, by phone or online via the Clinic’s website.
  8. In case the appointment is missed twice due to the client’s no-show as well as the client’s failure to cancel the appointment by phone, text message or in person, 36 h before the scheduled appointment. The treatment will be considered completed.
  9. If there are health contraindications during the course of the package, exceptionally on an individual basis, the Clinic has the unilateral right to extend the date or switch to other treatments.
  10. The person performing the treatment may refuse to perform the service if there are contraindications.
  11. The client agrees to follow post-treatment instructions affecting the effectiveness and safety of the therapy.
